DatuK dan DaTo'.....MD and MBBS

ade gelaran datuk ade jugak gelaran dato'.....bile search kat internet, the same person but gelaran datuk boleh dato' pun boleh. confius2!!!! so, here are the different between gelaran datuk and dato'.

Datuk: gelaran kehormat bagi penerima Anugerah Darjah Kebesaran yang dianugerahkan oleh Kerajaan Persekutuan dan Kerajaan Negeri yang diketuai oleh Yang Dipertua, seperti Melaka, Sarawak, dan Sabah.

Dato': gelaran kehormat bagi penerima Anugerah Darjah Kebesaran yang dianugerahkan oleh Kerajaan Negeri yang diketuai oleh Sultan atau Raja.

so make the story short janji sebutan sama...we still need to call them datuk although some of them using dato' at the pangkal of their name. pangkat dan darjah yg sama cume dianugerah oleh pemerintah dari kerajaan yang berlainan.....

satu lagi yang mungkin agak mengelirukan apabila gelaran doktor perubatan apabila dihujung namanya tercatat MD or maybe MBBS.....what the difference???? two pof them is bachelor in medicine....

MD: is the USA version. most of medicine study in malaysia are using MD because we are using USA version/style of study. betul ke nih????? but the truth is it is USA version of medicine doctor

MBBS: is the British sytem of education in medicine....

educationally they are the same!!!! =)
